IPv6 has so much promise and there are defined protocols for making it interoperable with IPv4, yet nobody except OS makers seem to want to touch it. There is a huge amount of potential for IPv6 to solve many of the problems we have with IPv4, but implementation has been taking years. How much longer will we have to wait for IPv6 to make it into consumer networking devices?
